Wrestle Mania

The Athletic Scholarship Team has been busy attending several wrestling tournaments in the area. It's nice to see that many families find value in the service Athletic Scholarship offers.  Services ranging from general recruiting questions, advice, athletic profiles and DVDs to distribute to college coaches.

Times a Ticking

The one question most parents ask is when should we start looking at college programs?

My initial response is typically, you haven't started already? The one piece of advise we give all parents is not to wait till your son or daughter is a Junior or Senior to start evaluating college programs.  Choosing the right program is a major decision and careful planning and research must be done.  Start now.  Get a free consultation from a member from our team.

Football Combine
Due to several requests Athletic Scholarship Help will host a football combine as as soon as the fields thaw.  This winter the team has been talking to a ton of athletes looking for advice and what to do to get noticed by college recruiters. One key component is a quality DVD showing the athletes skills in action.  If you would like to be contacted when the event is scheduled, please let us know by completing the Combine Registration form.

Choosing a Career

The majority of college student athletes become a professional in a career other than their sport.  Many student athletes are not sure what they want to do when they graduate from college. Many students will change their major at least once while in college.  As a parent, do not wait for your child to decide what career they want to pursue before researching college programs.

I found this great site that provides students an overview of the average starting salary by various degrees.  Read the PayScale College Salary Report to gain insights on certain majors.
