Lou Calvarese Jr.
Native Delawarean who graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and the University of Delaware. Lou spent the last 23 years with MBNA America Bank/Bank of America as a Senior Vice President. Lou's enthusiasm and drive makes Athletic Scholarship Help a success.
Lou is passionate about all sports and has been involved in athletic programs for more than 30 years, both as a player and a coach. Lou is an active Board Member in the Piedmont Baseball League, and has experience in coaching baseball at the High School level.
Lou enjoys helping young athletes play to the best of their abilities, and get the recognition they deserve. Lou played sports at the collegiate level and understands the commitment involved in playing at the next level. Lou played college baseball at West Chester University, the University of Delaware, and also played 6 years in the Delaware Semi-Pro Baseball League as a Pitcher.
Pat Ramone
Graduate from McKean High school and attended the University of Delaware and Wilmington University. He retired from the DuPont Company as a Training Technologist after 36 years of service. Pat played basketball and baseball at McKean and for perennial State Champion Stahl Post, participating in the World Series in 1970. Pat started left field for Marta Semi-pro, winning the Delaware State Championship in 1974.
Pat went on to manage American Legion Baseball for 18 years with Stahl Post #30 where he assisted over 100 players in receiving college scholarships across the country with over 25 players signing professional contracts, most notably Bill Johnson and Derrick May. Coach Ramone won 8 state championships while managing and in 2002, Pat’s Stahl Post NABF team finished 3rd in the country at the World Series. He coached at Wilmington University for 2 years, reaching the NAIA World Series in 1992.
From 1993 to 2000 Pat scouted for the Baltimore Orioles where he managed the East Coast Showcase Baltimore Orioles at the University of North Carolina each summer, coaching current Major Leaguers Mark Texiera, Mike Cuddayer, and Jim Gobble, just to name a few.
Pat’s daughter Julie played four years of volleyball at Padua Academy and currently attends the University of Pittsburgh. His sons, Patrick and Matthew, attend A I DuPont High School and have participated in cross country, football, wrestling and lacrosse.
Pat understands the recruiting process and has connections with several college coaches in all sports. As his record indicates, he is committed to assisting athletes move on to the next level both academically and athletically.
Rich Ranauto
Long-time Delawarean graduated from Brandywine High School and the University of Delaware. Rich played high school football and wrestled at Brandywine High School. Rich understands collegiate sports and earned a position on the University of Delaware wrestling squad. Rich has a true passion for sports and supporting various athletic programs. He is committed to assisting the families of collegiate prospects in the Mid Atlantic Region with developing their recruitment marketing plan.
Over the past 15 years, Rich has been active in many sports programs including Holy Angels Athletics, Bear Babe Ruth, Hodgson Softball, Canal Softball, Delaware Wrestling Alliance, Shippensburg Football, UD Athletics, Caravel Football, Wrestling and Cheer.
Rich’s children have all been successful in their athletic endeavors. Daughter Jenna (Hodgson) and son Vinnie (Caravel) earned All State honors in their respective sports; Softball, Football and Wrestling. Vinnie was also a 2X Beast of the East all American and was named 2008 Delaware Sports Male Athlete of the Year. He currently plays football for Shippensburg University. Daughter Marissa captained (4 years) Caravel’s Cheer squad, which earned state and national honors.
